Short film day [Southern Hemisphere]

Short Film Day is repeated on June 21st

Since 2010, the shortest day of the year, December 21st for the northern hemisphere and June 21st for the southern one, was consecrated as International Short Film Day.

On the occasion of the second date, the Italian Short Film Center is pleased to propose to Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes operating in the Southern Hemisphere, the program prepared for the recurrence in the current year. Celebrated today in more than fifty countries, the Short Film Day is an ideal showcase for the short films that, during the year, hardly leave the festival circuit.
In particular, the program of short films produced by the CNC is an overview which aims to give visibility to the most recent Italian production.

The program is available to the circuit of Italian Diplomatic Missions from the 19th to the 23rd of June. Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes can join the project free of charge and insert it in their programming. A formula that allows a wide diffusion of the Italian short film in the world and which, over the years, has always had extremely positive feedbacks.

This year, due to the current health emergency, the short films are available not only for normal screening in cinema, but also for the online streaming.
